Work in Progress – Wrapping Paper illustration
These days I’m working on developing a new product – Wrapping paper!
I’m using a handmade stamp to create the patterns for the paper; professional quality printing ink and recycled paper.
I find something very interesting in the process of repetition. I actually love it! it puts me in some sort of meditative state of mind that I really enjoy.

It did take quite a bit of time, and I’m still working on making it more sustainable…. but it’s a good start

Show and tell!
Any suggestions, feedback, ideas, questions?
Eva touches the snow!
My sister Eva has never touched the snow, until now! As you may (or may not) know we’re both from Caracas, Venezuela. She’s here visiting for 3 months and I couldn’t wait to take her to Mt Baker to touch the snow. It was a beautiful day but the snow was a bit old, and it wasn’t as snowy as I was hoping. I was in such urgency to take her to see and touch the snow that I forgot we’re not quite in the season yet, but believe me, she loved it!

This Mt. is gorgeous isn’t it?
She’s thrilled as you can see… and a little scary too!

It was a really fun trip and hike, hopefully we’ll have the chance to do it again when it’s actually snowing
until then, we’ll enjoy remembering how crazy she got when she saw and touched the snow. Love you sis!
Artist Studio Tour
The Whatcom Artist Studio Tour was a couple of weeks ago, and I’m proud to say I was selected to be part of it!
It was really fun to meet the people in my community and hear all the feedback they had to share. Luckily I had my sister Eva coming to town from Venezuela to help me out with everything! and I also had my favorite photographer visiting and shooting some lovely pictures of my studio. Please take a look at her work cuz she’s awesome!

Work in Progress
I just wanted to show you some work in progress, basically because that’s most of what I’ve been doing lately. With the Studio Tour coming in 2 months! I know it sounds like a lot, but it’s not that much time if you consider all the other work that I’m doing besides art. It’s all fun though, and I’m grateful I have the opportunity to do all these things. Being a Artist/Nanny can get you pretty busy
Some rough sketches before starting goes long ways.
Still quite a bit to get done though. This is just a little sneak peek preview

I’m trying to create a little collection here. This are other boards I’m planning on using. I used colors for the illustration boards.
